TESTIMONIALS
“I have had the great pleasure of working with Gill; her warmth, experience and insight made her highly valued and well respected by our team and very popular amongst our foster carers. Gill provided weekly support sessions to foster carers; specifically to help them think about the children in their care. With Gill’s ongoing intervention, carers felt understood, supported and helped to stay curious. As a result of Gill’s input, placements became stable and carers felt a greater sense of resilience. Thank you Gill, for your thoughtful and excellent work.”
Clinical Lead, Multi-Agency Team, UK Foster Care agency.
“I can recommend Gill to you without hesitation. Gill is passionate about education in general and the education of potentially marginalised students in particular. She is creative, strategic, empathic, positive and develops good working relationships with children and young people, families, colleagues, staff from schools and other agencies. She was always well regarded by senior staff.”
John Bradley, Formerly Head of Inclusion Services, Nottinghamshire County Council
“Many thanks, Gill, for all the insight and wisdom you have given us in being able to support and understand Peter. We have really enjoyed working with you and benefitted immensely from your guidance and expertise. You have been supportive, helpful and listened so well to all our ramblings. We will continue to use all the ideas and thoughts that you shared with us and won’t forget the amazing start we had with you on our fostering journey.”
Sarah and Tim, Foster Carers
“I have known Gill professionally for many years and can highly recommend her delivery as a trainer. Gill’s approach is professional, well organised and engaging. An example of this is providing successful training for foster carers. Feedback from the participating foster carers included “excellent trainer” and “this training made me think about the child’s emotions in transitions.”
